Big Data Administrator (f/m/x)
Our client is one of the leading players in the sports betting area. To build up a core team in the area Data Science in Vienna they are searching for a Big Data Administrator (f/m/x).
These exciting tasks are awaiting you:
- Administrate, monitor and optimize our Big Data environment based on Apache Hadoop from Cloudera (on-premise and cloud)
- Plan and execute updates/upgrades
- Evaluate new tools and frameworks for future use
- Advise our Data Engineers and Data Scientists on the selection of Hadoop services for use cases
- 3rd level support through troubleshooting and error analysis
Your experience so far:
- Technical education (Computer Science HTL, Computer Science Degree, Data Science etc.)

Experience in data modeling (relational databases and Apache Hadoop)
Know-how of core technologies such as SQL (MS SQL Server), Apache Hadoop (Kafka, NiFi, Flink, Spark, Scala und/oder Java, Python) and Linux - Showing interest in working with high-frequency data processing in a near-realtime environment
