We are currently seeking a Draftsperson with previous experience in all aspects of the design, fabrication, and installation of façade systems to join our experienced Projects Team.
Your key duties in this role will include: -
· Proficient at creating Architectural shop drawings using Auto CAD software.
· Create material take offs for project materials and optimise to ensure efficiency.
· Produce manufacturing instructions for production including assembly instructions, drill programs and sheet metal drawings.
· Produce detailed manufacturing / fabrication drawings for outsourced components.
· Ensure high quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in all drawings produced.
· Follow and implement design standards and company process’ to ensure both consistency and quality.
Qualifications, skills, and experience required: -
· Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Draftsperson in facade drafting and design.
· Proficient drafting experience using Auto CAD software.
· Superior time management and organisational skills with the ability to work remotely and meet project deadlines.
· Computer user of Microsoft office software – Excel, Outlook
· An industry related qualification, CERT IV, Diploma or higher.
· Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards.
· Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
· Be proficient in English.
· Experience in Revit and 3D modelling software packages would be advantageous however not essential.
